V.Y.B (Voice Your Body) Dance Company was founded in 2007 by a group of talented performers in the bay area that believe they could use dance to make difference in their community . VYB thrives on making a mark with their urban feel leaving their audiences inspired and wanting more. Teaching weekly classes, performing for special events and organizing community functions the company shares the love of dance throughout the streets. VYB is not only culturally diverse group, the performers are well-trained in various styles of dance, making them relevant to any atmosphere.
DeMario Henry,VYB Founder/Creative DeMario Henry,VYB Founder/Creative Director/ ChoreographerDirector/ ChoDeMario Henry made his debut as a choreographer with the 2002 Gospel Stellar Awards in Houston, Texas. Born in Georgia, DeMario moved to Florida when he was 11 years old where he first discovered his hidden talent at a local community church where they gave free dance lessons. DeMario graduated from Howard W. Blake High School. He is currently dancing in the musical production "Katonga" at Busch Gardens. DeMario teaches hip-hop dance at the Patel Conservatory.
Dreama Davidson, VYB Creative Director/Choreographer
Life revolves around the stage for Dreama Davidson, with 20 years dance experience, her career has proven to become an undeniable success. Dreama has perfected her style, technique and knowledge of the path she has chosen to take. Currently, she is the dance capitan and feature lead actress in the Broadway style musical “Katonga” at Busch Gardens theme park and teaches jazz and hip-hop all over the Bay area. Ryan Morgan, VYB Co-founder/ Choreographer
Ryan is upcoming choreographer/dancer that just finished a tour overseas in East Germany. He can also be found teaching our VYB classes where he specializes in popping, locking, free style hip-hop and choreography. Ryan is the co-founder of VYB.
Limbert Capellan, VYB Choreographer/Dancer
Limbert began training in dance as a teenager. He is a graduate of Blake High School of Performing Arts in Tampa and studied dance at several studios around the Tampa Bay area. Limbert has participated as a dancer in many competitions and has won top awards on a regional and national level. He has performed professionally in venues such as Disney World, Busch Gardens, Sea World,Super Bowl XXXV and Cruise Ships. Limbert has also been a featured back-up dancer for several recording artists such as Alli & AJ, The Cheetah Girls, PYT and Sting, & Stix. He choreographs for the H.W.Blake high school Sting dance team, as well for shows at Busch Gardens, Tampa. He was a semi-finalist contestant on season three of So You Think You Can Dance and attended the Las Vegas week-long audition making it to the top 20
